Lagos Begins Public Consultations for 2027 Budget Across Five Divisions
The Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget will begin its 2027 Budget Consultative Forum on Monday, September 7, 2026. The first session will hold in Ikeja Division at the Multipurpose Hall, Radio Lagos, Agidingbi, from 10:00 a.m. The five-day exercise will cover the state’s IBILE divisions: Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe. Residents and stakeholders will be invited to present community needs and recommend priorities for the 2027 budget. Government officials, traditional rulers, community groups, civil society organisations, professional bodies, trade associations, youth and women groups, private-sector representatives, persons living with disabilities and other residents are expected to participate. Those seeking to join virtually can indicate their division and submit an expression of interest to the ministry.
