Radda Assures Non-Indigenous Residents of Equal Access to Katsina Government Programmes

Radda Assures Non-Indigenous Residents of Equal Access to Katsina Government Programmes

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda says non-indigenous residents will continue to benefit from government programmes, infrastructure and business-support initiatives. Speaking during a meeting with leaders of the Non-Indigenous Association of Katsina, Radda said residents who have lived, worked and raised families in the state should be treated as part of Katsina. He recognised their contributions to employment, wealth creation and peaceful coexistence. The governor directed community members seeking business support to approach the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency. He also asked that requests involving religious activities, traditional institutions and meetings with government officials be submitted through the appropriate offices. Community leaders welcomed the assurance and appealed for greater inclusion, empowerment and access to government opportunities.
