Three Children Found Dead, One Rescued at Ideani Residence in Anambra
Police in Anambra State have taken a woman into custody after three children were found dead and a fourth was rescued unconscious at a residence in Umuoduba Village, Ideani, Idemili North LGA. Police said officers from the Ogidi Division rushed all four children to hospital after receiving a report. Doctors confirmed the deaths of three children, aged reportedly between six and 15, while the surviving child remains in critical condition. The State Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the case. Police said the bodies have been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy and urged residents not to circulate unverified claims while investigations continue.
