Bayelsa Hands Rescued São Tomé and Príncipe Fishermen to Ambassador
1 / 4
I handed over two rescued fishermen from São Tomé and Príncipe, Pedro Mateus and Isnaic Dafonseca, to their ambassador, Carlos Manuel Moreno, who travelled from Abuja to Bayelsa State. The men were rescued eight days earlier by residents of Agge in Ekeremor Local Government Area after reportedly losing their way while fishing off the Atlantic coast. I commend the Agge community for finding them and promptly bringing them to the authorities. Their actions deserve recognition.
