Four Residents Injured in Suspected Attack on Plateau Community

Four residents were rescued after a suspected attack in Gonifal Village, Ganawuri District of Riyom Local Government Area, Plateau State. Troops of Operation Enduring Peace reportedly responded to the incident at about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 17. The attackers fled after the troops arrived. The victims were found with machete wounds and taken to Ganawuri Maternity Clinic for first aid. Security forces have begun a search for the suspects.
