Lil Durk Acquitted of All Charges in Federal Murder-for-Hire Case
Rapper Lil Durk has been found not guilty on all five federal charges linked to a 2022 shooting in Los Angeles. The jury reached its verdict after three days of deliberations. Prosecutors alleged that he was involved in a plot to target rapper Quando Rondo in retaliation for the 2020 death of rapper King Von. Quando Rondo survived the shooting, but his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, was killed. Lil Durk’s defence argued that his former assistant, Kavon Grant, acted independently and did not take instructions from the rapper. The acquittal clears Lil Durk of charges including conspiracy, stalking resulting in death and murder-for-hire.
