FCT Police Hand Over Drug Suspects and Seized Substances to NDLEA
The FCT Police Command has handed over suspects arrested with illicit drugs and substances to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Abuja. Commissioner of Police Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi said the move was aimed at strengthening cooperation with the NDLEA, the agency legally responsible for investigating and prosecuting drug offences. An NDLEA representative said the suspects and recovered items would be properly investigated, with prosecution to follow in line with the law. Police urged residents to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity to the authorities.
