On June 15, 2017, armed men I later identified as SARS officers from Awkuzu took my husband, Chukwuemeka, from our home in Lekki, Lagos. I have not seen or heard from him since. The police later claimed he died in custody, but they never produced his body or gave us a clear account of what happened.
