Dabiri-Erewa Urges Nigerians Abroad to Support National Development

NiDCOM Chairperson Abike Dabiri-Erewa has called for closer cooperation between Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to support national development. Speaking at the AfroEuropa Gala and Awards Night in London, she said Nigerians abroad remain important ambassadors whose conduct, expertise, investments and networks can shape perceptions of the country. She urged the diaspora to stay connected to Nigeria and take part in programmes and policies affecting the country, while working with Nigerians at home to build a stronger nation.
