LNSA Arrests 130 Suspects in Victoria Island and Lekki-Ajah Security Raid
The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency says its special task force arrested 130 suspected hoodlums during an early-morning operation across Victoria Island, the Lekki-Ajah corridor and parts of the Coastal Road. The raid began at about 2am with support from the Kick Against Indiscipline task force and armed police officers. Authorities said it followed reports of criminals harassing motorists, especially during traffic congestion. The suspects have been screened and profiled for further investigation. The agency said those found culpable will be charged to court, while others who require intervention will be handled in line with the law. LNSA said similar joint security operations will continue at strategic locations across Lagos to curb crime and improve public safety.
