Rihanna Says She May Have About 170 Unreleased Songs

Rihanna has suggested that she has roughly 170 unreleased songs in storage as fans await her long-delayed ninth studio album. During a live session for Fenty Beauty, the singer compared her unreleased catalogue to having 17 vaults with 10 products in each. Her last studio album, ANTI, was released in 2016. Rihanna has said she is taking her time to ensure the next project reflects her artistic growth rather than following a conventional commercial formula. She has released individual soundtrack songs in recent years, including “Lift Me Up” in 2022 and “Friend of Mine” in 2025.
