Theo Abu Agada and Henry Shield Trade Claims Over Peter Obi’s NDC Campaign
NDC new-media director Theo Abu Agada and political commentator Henry Nwazuruahu Shield have exchanged accusations over Peter Obi’s place in the party ahead of the presidential election. Shield argued that the NDC appears to be giving more publicity to Senator Henry Seriake Dickson than to Obi. He also questioned whether key Obi supporters were sidelined during the party’s ticket selection process. Agada rejected the allegations and accused Shield of working to create division within the NDC. He said Dickson remains committed to the Obi/Kwankwaso political project, while challenging Shield to provide evidence for claims that he shared campaign information with APC figures. The exchange has renewed debate among opposition supporters over the NDC’s messaging, internal leadership and support for Obi’s candidacy.
