How I Scored 208 in JAMB by Guessing “D” for Every Answer

How I Scored 208 in JAMB by Guessing “D” for Every Answer

On exam day, April 17th, I hadn’t studied the set novel or past questions properly. I felt tired in the hall and decided to tick “D” for every question across all subjects. Last time I guessed “C” and scored 154, so this time I just locked in “D.” When results came out two days later, I couldn’t check mine because I lost the SIM I used for registration. My mum thought I never sat for the exam. Weeks later, a friend at IMSU told me to register for Post-UTME so my slip would display the JAMB score. The next morning, the slip arrived showing 208. Now I’m gearing up for the Post-UTME in August and plan to review past questions. Do you think a 208 can get me into Computer Science at IMSU? Any advice would be really helpful.

Were you surprised by how much your score jumped just by guessing all D answers on exam day?

It's interesting that switching from C to D guesses improved the result so dramatically, but that seems like a risky strategy overall.

Guessing every answer might boost one exam, but relying on luck doesn't sound like a reliable plan for most serious candidates.

You could combine a quick review of high-yield topics with educated guesses when time runs out to improve overall performance.
