Outrage as Reps Member Gives 120 Exercise Books to Over 2,000 Idanre Pupils

A House of Representatives member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency has faced criticism after reportedly cancelling summer lessons and distributing 120 exercise books to pupils at St. Joseph School, Idanre. The five packs distributed reportedly contained 24 books each. With more than 2,000 pupils in the school, parents and community members said the supplies were far too few to meet the children’s needs. Residents have urged the lawmaker to provide more meaningful educational support for pupils during the long holiday.
