A mother of two, Alex Garneau, was killed after a twin-engine Beech King Air 200 made an emergency landing on a highway in Prince George, British Columbia. The aircraft reportedly lost engine power while approaching the airport and struck four vehicles during the landing. Garneau was travelling with her daughter, Josie, who escaped with minor injuries. All six passengers and two crew members on the Sekani Air flight survived. Ten people were assessed at the scene, while two were taken to hospital in stable condition. Authorities are investigating the crash, and a final report may take months.
