A Conspiracy Commentary on Tupac Shakur’s Murder and Gang Culture
I examine the origins of the Black Panthers, the Crips and Bloods, and the history of police violence against Black and Latino communities in California. I argue that figures linked to gang culture, law enforcement and fraternal organisations played a role in the events surrounding Tupac Shakur’s death. These are personal interpretations and allegations, not established findings of fact. I believe Tupac was targeted because of his family’s Black liberation background and his potential political influence. I also condemn drive-by killings and the harm gang violence has caused in marginalised communities.
