Soludo Pledges Support for Youth Empowerment and Child Protection at Awka Forum
Governor Chukwuma Soludo has restated Anambra State’s commitment to youth empowerment, humanitarian protection and inclusive community development. Represented by Youth Development and Sports Commissioner Patrick Agha Mba, the governor spoke at the seventh anniversary and humanitarian stakeholders’ forum of Zaram Life Foundation in Awka. The forum focused on human rights, child protection, safe migration and support for women, young people and vulnerable residents. Speakers urged stronger action against human trafficking, drug abuse, unsafe migration, poverty and youth unemployment. They called for closer collaboration between government, communities and civil society groups to protect vulnerable people and create sustainable livelihood opportunities across the South-East.
