Five Men Killed in Head-On Collision on Badagry Expressway

Five adult men have died after a Toyota Camry collided head-on with an Iveco truck near Sawmill, close to Mowo Bus Stop on the Badagry Expressway. LASEMA said the crash occurred at about 5:16 a.m. Preliminary findings indicate that the Camry driver was allegedly speeding, lost control and entered the truck’s lane. Emergency responders recovered the victims and handed them over to the FRSC. The damaged vehicles were towed to Morogbo Police Division, while the road was cleared and reopened to traffic. Motorists have been urged to avoid speeding, wrongful overtaking and other dangerous driving, particularly during early morning trips.
