INEC Releases Final List of Candidates for Oyo 2027 Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has released a final list of 16 candidates for the 2027 Oyo State governorship election. The list includes Sharafadeen Alli of the APC, Oriyomi Hamzat of the Accord Party and Taofeek Adegoke of the ADC. Alli is listed with Adesoji Adedeji as his running mate, while Hamzat is paired with Bimpe Adesokan and Adegoke with Aderoju Oladayo Salako. Other parties on the list include the PDP, Labour Party, NNPP, APGA, PRP, YPP and ZLP. The document contains the names of governorship candidates, their deputies and party affiliations.
