If Tinubu Wins Again in 2027, Will Nigerians Keep Waiting Until 2031?

Let us be honest with ourselves. Many Nigerians have lost confidence in the electoral process after what happened in 2023. If Tinubu wins another term in 2027, are we simply expected to endure until 2031? We should not treat elections as the only time leaders can be held accountable. Whether the president is Tinubu, Obi, Atiku or anyone else, Nigerians deserve good governance, transparency and results. Instead of defending leaders because of party loyalty or ethnicity, we should demand accountability while they are in office. We can speak out, organise peaceful protests, ask questions and insist on better policies. If we keep waiting for the next election every time leaders fail, when do we start demanding the country we deserve?
