Mercy Aigbe Urges Privacy for Toluwanising’s Family Amid Burial Dispute

Actress Mercy Aigbe has appealed for compassion and privacy for the family of late singer Toluwanising amid a disagreement over his burial arrangements. She said the singer’s wife and two young children should be allowed to mourn without interviews and online commentary worsening the conflict. According to her, not every family tragedy should become public entertainment. The singer died on 14 October 2026. His relatives and wife are reportedly divided over whether he should be buried at his Ibadan home, in Ikirun, or at a cemetery or church burial ground. The family has also called for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Other commentators have argued against burying him in the house he built, saying it could affect the family’s future plans for the property.
