Bandits Kill Two Residents, Abduct Doctor and Traditional Ruler’s Wife in Kaduna
Suspected bandits have killed two residents and abducted a medical doctor and the wife of a traditional ruler in Abu village, Ninzo Ward, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack occurred around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, August 23. The victims were identified as Dr. Ezekiel Audu and the wife of the Hakimi. The gunmen reportedly opened fire on two residents who confronted them as they fled with the abducted victims. Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have launched rescue and offensive operations after receiving intelligence on a possible hideout. Security forces said surveillance has been intensified as efforts continue to locate the victims and arrest the attackers.
