Veekee James Threatens to Smash Phones Over Party Bloggers Filming Her Without Consent
Celebrity designer Veekee James has criticised Lagos party bloggers after a video reportedly exposed her phone password at an event. She said several bloggers attended her daughter’s dedication despite not being invited. According to her, she had only arranged for one media outlet to cover the event but found other people filming her closely. Veekee warned that she may smash any phone pushed directly in her face or used to record her and her husband from angles she considers disrespectful. Her comments have renewed debate over privacy, consent and the conduct of event bloggers.
