Nigerian troops reportedly neutralised 71 terrorists in coordinated ground, air and maritime operations in Borno and Yobe states. The operations also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition and supplies believed to support terrorist activities. A major five-hour counter-offensive in Buni Yadi, Yobe, followed an attack on troops at the North-East Theatre Training School in Gujba. The military said 48 ISWAP fighters were killed, while rifles, machine guns, a mortar and thousands of rounds of ammunition were recovered.
