Roadside IED Kills Two Civilians in Zamfara’s Bukuyyum LGA
Two civilians, a man and a woman, were killed after their motorcycle struck a suspected improvised explosive device along the Gurusu–Gwashi road in Bukuyyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The explosion occurred on Wednesday morning. Troops from the Forward Operating Base in Gwashi reportedly responded after receiving reports of the blast. Preliminary findings indicate that the motorcycle triggered the device. The victims’ remains were recovered from the scene.
