INEC Declares Adeleke Winner of 2026 Osun Governorship Election

INEC has declared Accord Party candidate Ademola Adeleke winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election after results were announced from all 30 local government areas. Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who received 444,815 votes. ADC candidate Najeem Salaam scored 17,180 votes. The result follows a closely contested campaign marked by political realignments across the state. Adeleke’s victory secures him another term as Osun State governor.
