Rarara Reportedly Escapes Abuja Crowd Disruption Over Pro-Tinubu Song
APC political singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara reportedly left Monaliza Park in Abuja under security protection after some youths disrupted his performance on the night of October 1. Accounts shared online said the crowd objected to a song supporting President Bola Tinubu, shouted down the singer and allegedly threw objects toward the stage. Rarara was said to have stopped performing as panic spread among attendees. Security personnel reportedly used tear gas and warning shots to disperse the crowd before escorting him away. However, there was no official confirmation from the police on the reported security response, injuries or arrests. The incident comes amid public anger over rising living costs and increased political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
