Edo Police Arrest Suspect Over Decorator’s Murder

The Edo State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the brutal killing of 30-year-old interior and event decorator Esohe Aigbe in Benin City. Relatives say she traveled to a funeral venue on Ujo Street in the Ogida area to volunteer free decoration services. Witnesses report that unidentified individuals attacked her after she completed the work. She was rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital but later died from her injuries. A police spokesperson confirmed that someone identified as Faith is now in custody at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department. Investigators are continuing efforts to apprehend any remaining accomplices.
