Reports: Iranian Missiles Strike U.S. Military Sites in Jordan, Troops Injured
Iran reportedly launched more than 40 ballistic missiles at U.S. military positions in Jordan during a nighttime barrage. Footage said to have been recorded by a U.S. soldier shows missiles, air-defence interceptors and explosions near military facilities. Muwaffaq Salti and Prince Hassan air bases were reportedly among the targets. Jordanian and U.S. forces are said to have fired 110 to 120 Patriot interceptors in response. Reports claim that several missiles penetrated the air-defence network, with at least four impacts recorded at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. A Kheybar Shekan ballistic missile was also reportedly said to have evaded interception. The claims require independent verification.
