Speeding Lexus Collides with Motorcycle in Abeokuta, Two Killed

The Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State says two men died after a Lexus car collided with a motorcycle in Leme, Abeokuta. The crash happened around 5:45pm on Monday involving a black Lexus (KJA 398 JR) and a black TVS motorcycle (AYT 837 QU). Six adult males were on the scene. Two died at the crash site while the other four escaped without injury. Preliminary investigations point to excessive speed as the cause. Rescue teams arrived within five minutes. They evacuated the victims and moved the bodies to Ijaye Mortuary. Personal items found at the scene were secured and traffic flow was restored. The FRSC Sector Commander urged motorists to obey speed limits and drive safely. He reminded the public to report crashes via the national emergency toll-free number 122 or the nearest patrol.
