Rivers Man Arrested Over Alleged Killing of Father in Obio/Akpor
Police in Rivers State have arrested a man in his 20s over the alleged killing of his father in the Pipeline area of Rumukwurushi, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area. Neighbours said the incident happened while the suspect’s mother was at work. On her return, she reportedly found the house in disarray and called for help after discovering her husband unresponsive. Vigilante members and police officers reportedly forced their way into the house and arrested the suspect. The Rivers State Police Command confirmed the arrest and said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the alleged attack.
