Wike Welcomes Fubara’s Return, Says Reconciliation Will Boost Tinubu’s 2027 Bid
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara committed no offence by reconciling with the political camp that supported his emergence as governor. Speaking after inspecting road projects in Abuja on July 28, Wike said politics should not be treated as a matter of sin or forgiveness. He said there was nothing wrong with admitting mistakes and returning to a familiar political family. Wike said Fubara's public reconciliation would help unite political leaders in Rivers State and strengthen mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.
