Police Arrest Alleged Fake Doctor Over Unlicensed Fertility Clinic in Ibadan
The Oyo State Police Command says it has arrested a 45-year-old man accused of operating an unlicensed medical facility and providing fertility-related treatment in Ibadan. Police said the suspect was arrested on 2 October after intelligence led officers to Life Is Good Hospital in the Olodo area. The facility was also said to have operated in the Academy area of the city. Items recovered during the operation included medicines, specimen bottles, weighing scales, a stethoscope and magnetic resonance body analysers. Police said the suspect allegedly admitted he had practised without medical qualifications or a licence for about seven years. Investigation is ongoing.
