AIG Akpanudom Clears Illegal Motor Parks and Street Traders from Lagos Police HQ

AIG Akpanudom Clears Illegal Motor Parks and Street Traders from Lagos Police HQ

The new Assistant Inspector General of Police overseeing the FCID at Force Headquarters Annex in Lagos, AIG Simon Udofia Akpanudom, has led a clean-up operation around the main gate. Officers dislodged illegal motor parks, street traders, beggars and other nuisances that were obstructing traffic and raising security concerns. The area now looks cleaner and traffic flows more smoothly. This enforcement follows directives from Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu aimed at bolstering security and safeguarding property within the headquarters. Residents of Moloney Street and motorists have welcomed the action. One local, Mr Lucky Okosun, praised the change and called for officers who facilitate such illegal activities to be redeployed.
