Bauchi Police Rescue 14-Year-Old Allegedly Used to Deliver Drugs, Arrest Dealer
Police in Bauchi State say they rescued a 14-year-old boy who was allegedly sent to deliver suspected methamphetamine to a customer. The boy reportedly identified 22-year-old Samuel Ogochukwu, described by police as a previously convicted drug dealer, as the person who sent him. Detectives later arrested Ogochukwu. Police said searches of his shop and residence recovered suspected methamphetamine, tramadol, pregabalin and diazepam. The boy is receiving counselling and is expected to be reunited with his family, while the suspect will be charged after investigations are completed.
