Woman Alleges Armed Robbers Attacked Family Home and Assaulted 17-Year-Old Girl
A woman has alleged that armed robbers broke into her parents’ home on Palace Road in the early hours of the morning, stole valuables and money, and sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in the house. She said three or four men allegedly entered the home at about 2am and remained there until around 6am. According to her account, they took ₦280,000 from the POS business of her late brother’s widow and allegedly threatened other family members. She said the incident has left her mother, the widow and the children traumatised. The allegations have not been independently verified.
