Taekwondo Champion and Law Student Isabelle Sava Dies Aged 19

Isabelle Sava, a 19-year-old taekwondo champion and law student at Queen Mary University of London, has died after she was found unresponsive in bed last week. Emergency and air ambulance teams reportedly attempted to resuscitate her, but she was pronounced dead. Her death is believed to have followed a cardiac arrest during her sleep, although an investigation is ongoing. Sava was a black belt who had been preparing to begin her second year studying law. She was also involved in student legal societies and had written for the university’s legal advice centre.
