Peter Obi Invites Nigerians to Scrutinise His Record and Background
Peter Obi has challenged Nigerians to examine his background and publicly disclose any wrongdoing they can substantiate. Speaking at a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Obi said Nigerians should be free to verify his date of birth, education and past record. He said public office seekers must be open to scrutiny. Obi also referred to his defamation suit against Kenneth Okonkwo. He said the legal action followed claims that Okonkwo had damaging information about his past dealings, and urged anyone with such evidence to make it public.
