Kano Court Remands Man Over Alleged Killing During Dispute Over Donated Motorcycles

A Kano Magistrates’ Court has remanded Musa Umar in a correctional facility over the alleged killing of Saminu Haruna Tudun Bojuwa. Umar was arraigned before Magistrate Hauwa Abba Musa on charges of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide. Prosecutors alleged that he and another person, who was not before the court, stabbed the deceased during a dispute. The dispute was reportedly linked to the sharing of motorcycles donated by a politician. The court adjourned the case until November 3, 2026, for further proceedings.
