Nigerian Stars Who Have Sold Out London’s O2 Arena
London’s O2 Arena has become a major landmark for African musicians aiming to prove their global reach. With a capacity of up to 20,000, a sold-out show at the venue is a significant achievement for any artist. Wizkid became the first Nigerian artist to sell out The O2 with his Afrorepublik concert in May 2018. He later returned for three consecutive shows during the Made in Lagos era. Davido sold out the venue in January 2019, while Burna Boy achieved the feat in August 2021 after the global success of Twice as Tall. Asake sold out The O2 in 2023 and recorded further reported sell-outs in 2024 and 2026. Rema also headlined the arena in November 2023, following the worldwide success of Calm Down. Their achievements reflect the growing international audience for Nigerian Afrobeats.
