Husband on the Run After Wife Found Dead in Ikare-Akoko
The Ondo State Police Command is searching for a man accused of killing his wife, Mrs Christianah Kutelu, in Ikare-Akoko, Akoko North-East Local Government Area. The 51-year-old special needs school staff member died on Sunday, April 26 under circumstances suggesting domestic violence. According to family sources, the suspect transported his wife’s body to a morgue shortly after the incident and then disappeared. Police Public Relations Officer DSP Jimoh Abayomi confirmed the case has been recorded at the Ikare division and an autopsy has been ordered to establish the cause of death. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the husband. The command assured residents that the investigation will be thorough and justice will be served.
