I love and honour Peter Obi. However, his focus on government spending and national borrowing misses the urgent security challenges we face today. We are at war with terrorists, not mere bandits. These extremists seize territory and target lives. As they expand their reach, communities and local governments are being wiped out. What we need now are leaders who will call out this insecurity and propose concrete plans to defend our nation. Talking about economic analysis while violence spreads risks leaving citizens unprotected. Our military is compromised, top officers have fallen, and thousands of Nigerians have been murdered. If we don’t confront this crisis head-on, terrorism will only worsen in the coming years.
