Shettima Commissions 11.2km of Roads, Launches 230 Transit Vehicles in Katsina
Vice-President Kashim Shettima has commissioned 11.2 kilometres of road projects and launched 230 mass-transit vehicles in Katsina State. The road projects include the Kofar Sauri–Central Mosque Roundabout Road, the Central Police Station Junction–Kofar Kaura Underpass Road, and the Filin Polo–Ring Road. The state also launched 30 CNG hybrid buses and 200 electric tricycles. Governor Dikko Radda said the projects are part of a wider urban-renewal plan intended to ease traffic, improve road safety and strengthen links across Katsina metropolis. He added that the buses will serve Katsina, Daura and Funtua.
