Edo Man Jailed for Sextorting Indian Woman After Fake Spiritual Bath Ritual
A Federal High Court in Abuja has sentenced Solomon Odigie Moses to one year in prison for impersonating a spiritualist and extorting an Indian woman. Prosecutors said Moses used a fictitious social-media account to offer spiritual help, persuaded the victim to take a nude bath and recorded her without consent. He allegedly threatened to release the video unless she paid him. The victim paid $1,100 before the case was reported. The court ordered the money forfeited and returned to her through the EFCC. Moses was also given an option of a ₦300,000 fine.
