Tearful Appeal to Gov. Makinde by Husband of Abducted Principal
Gunmen stormed schools in Ahoro-Esinle and Yawota on May 15, abducting Principal Rachael Alamu, six teachers and up to 39 pupils. During the raid, teacher Joel Adesiyan was killed and Michael Oyedokun was later beheaded by the kidnappers. Mrs. Alamu has since shared desperate videos from captivity, begging negotiators to act after a failed rescue attempt. Governor Seyi Makinde comforted her husband on site and pledged continued joint operations with federal support. Families and the wider community hold onto hope as the nation prays for the safe return of all victims.
