Ogun Police Arrest Man Over Alleged Theft of 16 Railway Iron Rods

SWAT operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 36-year-old man over the alleged vandalism and theft of railway infrastructure in Arigbajo. Police said the arrest followed intelligence and increased surveillance in the area after reports of stolen railway materials on October 23. Officers reportedly recovered 16 railway iron rods and two gas cylinders from an uncompleted building. The suspect was said to have admitted involvement in similar incidents. Police said investigations are continuing to identify other possible suspects and recover additional stolen property.
