Davido has reportedly submitted entries from his latest album, Oriade, and several collaborations for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards. The reported submissions include Album of the Year, Best Global Music Album, Best African Music Performance, Song of the Year and music video categories. Songs said to be in contention include B4 B4 with Mayorkun and FOLA, Nakupenda with TxC, Zlatan, Shoday, Scott Maphuma and Al Xapo, and Le Show featuring Ayra Starr and French Montana. The entries are not Grammy nominations. Eligible recordings can be submitted for consideration before Recording Academy voting members select the official nominees. Davido previously said Grammy recognition was not his main motivation for making music, though he acknowledged that every artiste wants to make a successful record.
