A Nigerian soldier attached to the Army Aviation Hangar in Minna, Niger State, has reportedly been arrested after appearing in uniform during a TikTok live session and asking content creator King Pedro for money. The arrest reportedly took place at the 234 Battalion in Badagry, Lagos State, where the soldier was staying. A military source said the action followed the viral exchange, in which King Pedro criticised him for soliciting money while wearing military uniform. The source also claimed that another young soldier had been insulted by the influencer during a separate live session. The incident has sparked debate about military discipline, online conduct and the welfare of personnel.
