Major Milestone: Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway Clears Silame–Katami Corridor
The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway has reached another milestone with clearance now complete from Illela through Silame LGA in Sokoto State. Work is advancing toward the Kebbi State border, with contractors fully mobilized for alignment preparation and preliminary construction. This section joins the flagship 1,068 km transnational corridor linking the Northwest to the Southwest. Using Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP), the project promises durability, safety, and long-term value. Inspections led by Engr. Kasim Maigwandu and field supervisors Habibu Bello Mayana & Sagir Usman report steady progress and renewed hope through world-class infrastructure.
