Georgian Passport Holder Arrested in Poland Over Murder of Anti-Putin Satirist
Polish authorities have detained a Georgian national suspected of killing Russian satirist Semyon Skrepetsky, known publicly as Robert Kuzovkov. The arrest was made by local police and the Internal Security Agency near Biała Podlaska, close to the Belarus border. Skrepetsky, famous for his cartoons mocking President Vladimir Putin, was shot multiple times while walking his dog. Eyewitnesses say the attacker opened fire in broad daylight and fled immediately. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned the killing bears the hallmarks of a political assassination. He said investigators are probing whether the order came from Moscow and described the act as "state terrorism." Suggested Group: Crime
